Based in the Burwood Suburb, Gourmet Delish provides quality catering for the surrounding suburbs including a long list of locations located in the Eastern Suburb of Melbourne. Satisfying finger foods, sandwich platters, and complete buffets for all dietary requirements and occasions have established a growing base of clients for Gourmet Delish across Melbourne.
At BeeWebby, we were hired to develop a site that built upon Gourmet Delish’s reputation, attract new customers, and surprise repeat eaters. It also had to function beautifully in its mobile version.
The About page highlights Gourmet Delish’s service features, and contact info is easy to find throughout the site.
But the main dish that we are especially psyched about is the food-menu section of gourmetdelish.com.au.
Instead of the epic long, text-heavy menu lists that quickly become out-of-date, colorful pics of the menu’s 22 categories are the main features for the website. Potential clients can quickly scan the images on their phones or desktops for the budget buffet, yum cha, afternoon tea platter and more, click an appealing pic (our favourite here), and read more about the menu options, including the equipment that would be provided.
Because multiple people are usually involved in the planning of an event, Gourmet Delish’s new website allows users to share a favorite choice through Facebook and Twitter to get feedback or provide a preview.
The website also helps potential clients save time by visually sorting the food categories according to buffet items, cold platters, or hot platters. No need to scroll through unnecessary options.
